Sai Ketan Rao’s grandmother cried because Mansi turned negative in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’: Rutuja Sawant

India Forums is back with some interesting trivia about Star Plus show ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’. The show is produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films. The current track of the show revolves around Mandar challenging Raghav that within a span of seven days, Pallavi would leave him and return to Deshmukh house. However, Pallavi has promised Raghav that no one will ever be able to separate them.

India Forums got in touch with actress Rutuja Sawant who plays the character of Mansi in the show. While earlier Mansi was a positive character, with turn of events, her character became negative. Speaking about the feedback from fans, Rutuja said, “Earlier it used to be sweet messages telling me that they can relate to having a supporting and always smiling sister. But now that my character has taken a 360-degree turn, I get hate messages and trolls whenever Mansi goes against Raghav and Pallavi. But I guess that’s a win-win situation. If you’re playing negative role and people are hating you means that you’re doing your job right. Sai Ketan Rao’s (Raghav) mother told me that her mother (Sai's nani) cried when my character turned negative because she loved Mansi a lot, this really touched my heart”.

Speaking about difficulty while shooting in a different city, Rutuja added, “It’s been six months now. So, I get homesick sometimes. But the whole MHRW family has become like my extended family so it’s super fun. Also, now that it’s raining a lot it’s a bit difficult but we’re going strong. Kolhapur is super green and I love nature so everything works out well in the end”.
