Sai Ketan Rao of Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali: Feel I should do a scene certain way, maybe that makes it believable

Menhndi Hai Rachne Waali on Star Plus features Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar in the lead roles as Raghav and Pallavi, respectively. The show also clocked in 200 episodes and fans have been sending all the love their way and continue to celebrate the show for bringing a constant dose of drama, good performances, and more.

India Forums got in touch with Sai for a quick conversation and here are some excerpts from the interview.

What would you say is a take away from your character?

(laughs) I might have given away, but not takeaway anything, because I am enacting the character, so there are a lot of improvisations and inputs. At the end of the day, the audiences are liking it and that is what matters.

How do you guys put life into making your characters believable?

I don't know, honestly, when I am giving a scene, I just feel that I should do it a certain way, and that is how I do it, just do it in my style. Maybe that is what makes the scenes believable.

There have been multiple instances about the show's off air rumours, how do you deal with that?

It is always all rumours, and we get such news, even we are left wondering as to if it is true or it is just a lie, so there is a lot of tension and we clear all those things on social media as well.

Are you someone who ever gets uncomfortable or shy with romantic scenes?

No, that was long long back, in the beginning of the career, you do get shy and uncomfortable in romantic scenes, but now, it is just a part of the job.

Bollywood director/actor and actress would you like to work?

I have not planned anything like this, but definitely, I'll be working in the Hindi medium as well, but I haven't given a thought to who are the actors and directors that I want to work with.
