The ensemble cast of the Star Plus show Saath Nibhana Saathiya is on cloud 9.

Reason? Well, the show completes a whopping 2000 episodes today!

Ahem and Gopi have ruled the hearts of the audience for long and now, it is their family who will take the legacy ahead.

Mohammad Nazim, who's journey was put to an end in the show was revived when the makers sensed the TRP's dipping (after all, Gopi pe sirf aur sirf Ahemji ka haq hai).

The actor entertained us as Jaggi and Ahem, and the creatives added new shades to his comeback character with the backdrop of a mysterious storyline, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats!

And Nazim is elated as the show gears up to celebrate this big day.

Nazim averred, "I am the hero of the show, so obviously it is momentous for me. The show has had a very long run and has consistently been in the top 5 shows which are popular which makes me very proud! This year is very lucky for me as not only is 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' doing well but also, I make my Punjabi debut with 'Big Daddy'! We will definitely have a grand party thrown by the production house."
