Ronit Roy turns 'Kitchen Champion' for COLORS..
The very popular actor Ronit Roy now turns a chef and a host for COLORS' upcoming cookery show...

After launching fiction shows especially for the afternoon band 'Sanjhi Dopahar', COLORS is now on its way to revive the genre of cookery shows albeit with a delicious twist. The soon to be launched 'Kitchen Champion', one of its kind cookery show which will see seasoned TV actor Ronit Roy, seasoning recipes in his role as the host and the chef on the show.
The show, although sees the debut of Ronit as a chef will also make for interesting afternoon viewing as they will be able to see eleven of their favorite COLORS leading ladies competing against each other in a culinary challenge as they embark on a journey of flavours and spices. Now viewers will be able to see how well the reel domestic goddesses fare in a real kitchen.
Speaking about the show, Programming Head, Ashvini Yardi said, ''Kitchen Champion is our latest addition to the afternoon band that we began earlier this year. The show will see television star Ronit Roy as the chef and the host. He will now be seen adding flavour to peoples' lives as a delicious host and chef with delicious food. Along with him viewers will have the pleasure to see their favourite leading ladies prove their mettle in the kitchen as they compete against each other to show off their culinary skills. People will now know, if these ladies who make delicious kachoris, kheers and biryanis on air, can cook in real life or not!"''
Speaking on his debut as a chef, Ronit Roy said, ''I'm a major foodie. I love eating and I enjoy cooking. I especially love to experiment with flavours. When I was offered 'Kitchen Champion' there was no way I was going to say no. It's totally different and a very new experience for me and I am looking forward to becoming the poster boy of cooking for women across the country!''
Ronit Roy is presently seen in Imagine's Bandini. The popular mother-daughter pair from COLORS' Balika Vadhu, Avika Gor and Bhairavi Raichura shot for a cookery episode today.

wow, would love 2 see d cast of Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam on this show, esp Sudha, Abeer's mom, as she everytime prepare halwa in d show. Leher ( Yami Gautam )should also come in this show
