The popular reality show "Khatron Ke Khiladi" is set to return for its 14th season, promising an exciting new twist under the continued guidance of host Rohit Shetty. During a candid conversation with Rohit Shetty, the director shared an intriguing insight about his father, Muddu Babu Shetty, also known as MB Shetty.

For those unfamiliar, MB Shetty was a renowned action director who worked on over 700 films, including classics like 'Don,' 'The Great Gambler,' 'Trishul,' 'Deewaar,' and 'Shalimar.' He was frequently cast as a villain and choreographed stunts in numerous Hindi and Kannada films during the 1970s.

When asked about his father's legacy and whether MB Shetty would have enjoyed performing stunts on "Khatron Ke Khiladi," Rohit reflected on his father's fearless attitude toward stunts.

Maine ye perspective se kabhi socha nahi vo toh pehle bolte ye cable vable kyu hai ye safety kyu hai kyuki they come from that era jaha pe which is not right par tabhi humare pass special effects the nahi, jyadatar jo stunts hote the voh real hote the so he would have like to do the real stuff, raw and real.(I never thought about it actually, but he would have first objected on they safety gears the cables and stuff which is actually not the right thing but then he comes from that era where he had no special effects, mostly the stunts would be real so he would have like to do the real stuff, raw and real.)

It's clear that Rohit Shetty's passion for daring stunts in his films is inspired by his father's legacy of raw and real action sequences

The 14th season of "Khatron Ke Khiladi" was shot in Romania and is scheduled to premiere on Colors TV from July 27. In addition to hosting the show, Rohit Shetty is gearing up for his multi-starrer project "Singham Again," which features a stellar cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor.

"Singham Again" is the third installment of the highly successful "Singham" franchise. The original "Singham," released in 2011, starred Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in lead roles, followed by "Singham Returns" in 2014. Both films were declared box office hits, and the upcoming sequel is highly anticipated.
