Rohit Roy Feels Unfortunate for Not Doing Porus!

Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s magnum opus, Porus was in the constant buzz since its launch. This finite historic series ended in November and was followed by the ongoing Chandragupta Mourya that stars actor Faisal Shaikh in the title role. During the pre-release of Porus, there was news that actor Rohit Roy was roped in as King Bamni, Porus’ father. But later, due to unavailability of dates, Rohit opted out of the show and actor Aditya Redij replaced him. 

Sometime back, Rohit wrote a heartfelt note on his social media, expressing that he feels unfortunate for not doing the show.

Rohit penned, “Now it can be revealed! #porus ka BAAP! That never was, unfortunately! This is one show I regret not doing! What a spectacle it was... Could have been my first mytho!! my loss completely…” 

He even shared a couple of photos from his look test.

Rohit will be next seen in Star Plus’ upcoming remake of a cult classic, Sanjivani alongside actors Gurdeep Kohli, Mohnish Bahl, Namit Khanna, Surbhi Chandana and Sayantani Ghosh. The show will air from the 12th of August.
