While shows concluding and journeys coming to an end is part and parcel of the TV industry, there are some shows which really leave a mark on us, and one such show is Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey’s production Swaran Ghar. Actor Rohit Choudhary, who played an integral role in the show, says that he is really going to miss it.

“I wasn’t expecting Swaran Ghar to end so soon as the show is doing great. The people who are watching the show said that the story is going great and they are connected to the show. But it’s a part and parcel of the TV industry. I wanted the show to complete the 500 episodes. There were so many things that were going to get explored in the story and I am going to miss the show a lot,” he says.

Talking about working in the show, he says, “Working in Swarn Ghar was really great. It was a new show in a new city and with a new production house and it went off very well. We had a great group of actors from television such as Ronit Roy, Sangita Ghosh, Ajay Singh Chaudhary and everyone. This show imparted a lot of learning and it was one of the best experiences till now on television. My character Vikram had so many layers so there were so many things to explore. There were so many emotions that I wasn’t comfortable showing on screen before, but now I am. It was a superb journey.”

The show was shot in Chandigarh. “In the initial days, we three brothers and Kiran(Bhaweeka Chaudhary) and Nilima(Shayani sahu) were living in one house so it was a great experience. I am planning to live in Chandigarh for some time. The city is beautiful and my family is here as well,” says the actor.

Talking about working with Ravie and Sargun, Rohit says, “The best thing was that it was very refreshing to work with a new production house. They were really great and took care of us really well. Ravie and Sargun also were here in the initial days. They are such nice people and they both know how to take care of actors. I feel blessed to work in this production and I want to be part of their next project.”
