With a career spanning an illustrious five decades, Rishi Kapoor became an iconic figure, gracing the silver screen in memorable roles. Today marks the 71st birth anniversary of the late actor and his friends and family members have taken down the memory lane to remember him on the special day.
Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a video having throwback pictures of the actor running in a montage. Sharing the pics she wrote, "In remembrance (folded hands emoji)."
Alia Bhatt also remembered her late father-in-law with a lovely picture. She wrote, "Always with us Always.."

One of the pictures showcased Rishi, Neetu, Riddhima and her daughter Samara. "Happy Birthday papa (white heart emoji). Miss you a little more today...," she captioned the post. Sharing another throwback snap of herself with her parents, she wrote, “Papa's carbon copy.”
Kareena Kapoor also remebered her Chintu uncle with a throwback picture. She wrote, "Happy birthday Chintu Uncle...Always in our (red heart emoji). Miss you."
Sanjay Dutt took to his gram and shared a picture featuring him Ranbir and Rishi Kapoor. Sharing the picture he penned an emotional note that read, "Chintu Sir was more than family, he embodied the essence of one of the finest actors and human beings. His infectious laughter, stories, and genuineness knit us together. On his birth anniversary, the void he left is palpable, but the warmth of his memory keeps him alive in our hearts. Miss you, sir."
For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor took his last breath on 30th April, 2020, while he was 67 battling 2 long years from leukaemia.
