"I was right here. Actually, I didn’t want to act, I wanted to become a  producer or a director or something. I wanted to make my kind of movies, I wasn’t happy with the kind of roles which I was getting. So that’s why... Jo kaam mujhe mil raha tha wo mai karna nahi chaah rahi thi aur jo mai kaam karna chaah rahi thi, wo mujhe mil nahi raha tha. That’s why I left. If I am not happy internally, I can't continue doing something," Rimi Sen said in an interview with Times Now.

The 39-year-old actress made her Bollywood debut with Vijay Galani's Hungama which was released in 2003. Rimi reportedly said that she started working when she was a child and revealed that she struggled a lot because she had financial issues at a very early age.

Reminiscing about her journey so far, Rimi during her recent interview with Times Now, called herself a “money-making machine” and mentioned that her focus was money and financial stability.

She further highlighted that according to her, she wasn't looking at fame, stardom, and attention.

Talking to Times Now Digital, Rimi reportedly said that she started working when she was a child. The actress revealed that she struggled a lot because she had financial issues at a very early age. Calling herself a 'money-making machine', Rimi added that her focus was money and financial stability. According to her, she wasn't looking at fame, stardom, and attention.

"I started working when I was a child, I was in school, and I struggled a lot because I had financial issues at a very early age. Tab toh kaam kar rahi thi, I was like a money-making machine, my focus was money and financial stability. And then this was a very nice platform. I wasn't looking at fame, stardom, and attention, I never wanted that. Mai camera ke peeche producer aur director banke zyada khush hu rather than mooh pe make-up lagaake aur paparazzi ke saamne photo khichaake," said the actress.

She further elaborated about her sabbatical and feels that she should have stayed for a little while because when she left, all the good directors like Neeraj Pandey, Shoojit Sircar, Dibakar Banerjee and others started to enter the industry.

In a career span of more than a decade, Rimi Sen has worked in several films like, ‘Hungama’, ‘Golmaal’, ‘Dhoom’, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, ‘Johnny Gaddar' and many more.

what a pathetic piece of writing Shreejit ! People don't need to read the same stuff she said, 3 to 4 times - we can understand the same thing when stated once. Learn how to differ between writing an article & talking on the stupid news channels, where they keep repeating same thing on & on again.
