Bigg Boss 9's Rimi Sen Demands Rs 50 Crore Compensation from Car Company for Alleged Mental Distress

Rimi Sen, known for her stint on Bigg Boss 9, has resurfaced in the limelight with a lawsuit against a car company for a hefty sum of Rs 50 crores. Reports suggest that she has taken legal action, with the notice referring to Rimi as Subhamitra Sen. The notice outlines the challenges the Garam Masala actress encountered due to recurring problems with the car manufacturer.

As per the Times of India, the ex-Bigg Boss 9 contestant has sent the notice to Jaguar Land Rover, Navnit Motors, and Satish Motors. In the complaint's details, Rimi Sen accidentally hit a pillar with her car's rear end on August 25, 2022, citing issues with the rear-end camera once more. She alleges in the complaint that 'Opposite Party No. 1' neglected her concerns, displaying ignorance, rudeness, and discourtesy.

The report also reveals that 'Opposite Party No. 1' has had Rimi's car for repairs over ten times since she began driving it. She asserts that despite numerous repair attempts, the car remains unresolved. The legal complaint highlights Rimi's claim of enduring mental distress and her demand for Rs 50 crores in compensation. Additionally, to cover her legal fees, the Kyon Ki actress is seeking an additional Rs 10 lakhs.

Talking about the matter, Rimi Sen said, "I was absolutely disappointed with the car company and its services. Worst was their attitude towards their customer. I bumped into a pillar but it easily could have been a human being." Moreover, the actress emphasized that the car company's negligence could have potentially endangered someone's life, including her own, in a fatal accident.

Elaborating on the Rs 50 crores compensation she seeks from the car company, Rimi stated that she believes she is entitled to it due to the trauma she has faced. She also conveyed her optimism for justice, stating that she and her lawyer are actively handling the case.
