Reem Sheikh slams media for capturing Tunisha Sharma's funeral

Tunisha Sharma's sudden demise came as a shock to the whole industry. The actress' last rites were held today. Majority of the industry visited the crematorium to pay their last respects to the late actress. 

Reem Sheikh, who has worked with Tunisha and was very close to her lashed out at media reporters for insensitively capturing Tunisha’s mother at her worse.

Reem wrote on her social media, Today as we lost a smile, we lost someone so full of life leave us soon. It was heartbreaking to let her go. Being an actor, our life is an open book and while we appreciate the fact that the media has always been a part of our highs and lows, we as a human also deserve a bit of privacy while dealing with an unbearable loss. Tunisha’s mom who was grateful to the media to spread her message, yet it was so disheartening to see the same media capture the mother in her worse and in an unconscious state who just lost her only child. It was boiling my blood to see during the rituals also we were asked to give quotes and speak what we feel. Now words can describe what I feel. Please give them privacy and have some sentiments towards situations like these. Have a heart as well while doing your profession. It just makes you a better human by heart.”

For the uninitiated, Tunisha hanged herself on the sets of her show.

The incident happened on the sets of her show. She was reportedly taken to the hospital. Sources added that the incident happened inside Mohammed Sheezan's (Alibaba) room. An eye witness stated that she hanged herself in Sheezan's make-up room.

Post that, Sheezan was taken into custody and continues to be involved in interrogation.
