Reem Shaikh called out by social media for 'nonsense' comment on feminism on Laughter Chefs Unlimited

Reem Shaikh who is known for her shows like Tujhse Hai Raabta, Fanaa – Ishq Mein Marjawan, Raisinghani Vs Raisinghani is now on Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment. The young lady has worked in romantic roles with actors like Sehban Azim and Karan Kundrra/Gashmeer Mahajani, a matter that was a hot topic on social media. Reem Shaikh was on Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment. On the show, she has a great bond with Aly Goni, Karan Kundrra and Arjun Bijlani. Possessive fans of ships like #JasLY and #TejRan were kind of upset with Reem Shaikh as they did not like to see the guys with her. 

Reem and Arjun Bijlani indulged in a lot of banter on Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment. On the show, she made a comment that due to the wave of feminism, men are the disadvantaged lot. Her exact lines were, “Lakde Hi Phaste Hai Kyunki Feminism Ka Zamana Chal Raha Hai. Every guy wants me and their girlfriends hate me." This statement has become a talking point on Reddit’s Indian TV forum. Most netizens have found it stupid and ‘Pick-Me’ behaviour not expected from the actress. They felt she maybe young but this was downright stupid. 

A person commented, “This is the second time she's talking about feminism she's 21 and speaks like this and shading ki gfs aur wives ki usko baddua lag jati hai what type of education she's getting why is she such a pick me.” Another person also wrote on Reddit, “Her constant giggling and blushing at him irked me today. She's been given the benefit of the doubt by all of us so many times but this just tops it, the way she said that statement and instantly looked at Arjun, seeking his validation. Ugh! Pathetic pick me behavior!” 

We can sense that people are being a bit unnecessary brutal here. The format of such shows is that there is an amount of flirting involved. We have Sudesh Lehri and Kashmera Shah romancing there, as are Nia Sharma and Aly Goni. The young actress has surely irked some people with that comment of hers.
