The anticipation for Vishal Bhardwaj's espionage thriller drama, 'Khufiya' has been steadily building, and fans were recently treated to a character promo featuring Ali Fazal. The film, based on the spy novel Escape to Nowhere by Amar Bhushan, boasts a stellar cast including Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ali Fazal in prominent roles.

In the latest character promo, Ali Fazal portrays Ravi Mohan, a character shrouded in ambiguity. The promo introduces Ravi Mohan as a vital agent of a national agency in India. However, the intriguing twist is that he's depicted as someone who appears to be trading confidential and vital information with the nation's enemies, resulting in his branding as a 'traitor.'

Ravi Mohan, essayed by Ali Fazal, comes across as a simple family man deeply connected to his family of four. The character promo further delves into his enigmatic persona, as he claims that his thinking transcends that of the common people. He firmly asserts that he is not a traitor but, rather, a 'patriot' with a vision that surpasses conventional perspectives.

The character promo was unveiled on Netflix India's social media handle accompanied by a captivating caption: "Beware, Ravi Mohan ki soch hum sab se do kadam aage hai! Find out if he’s a traitor or a patriot in #Khufiya, premieres on 5 October, only on Netflix."

Produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of VB Films Production in collaboration with Netflix, 'Khufiya' boasts an ensemble cast featuring Ashish Vidyarthi, Atul Kulkarni, Navnindra Behl, Shataf Figar, Azmeri Haque Badhon, Lalit Parimoo, and Rahul Vohra. Khufiya is scheduled for release on October 5, exclusively on Netflix.
