Ratan Tata Passes Away: Singham actor Ajay Devgn postpones Ask Ajay session on Twitter

Almost two days ago, Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, informed his supporters that he was undergoing medical checkups due to his age and health conditions. The whole nation was hoping for his swift recovery, but unfortunately, it was not meant to be, as the veteran industrialist reportedly passed away on Wednesday (October 9).

Ajay Devgn got his fans all hyped up when he announced on October 9 that he would be hosting an #AskAjay session to answer their questions on social media on October 10 at 2 PM. However, following the sad news of Ratan Tata's sudden passing, plans changed. Earlier, the senior actor tweeted, “In honor and respect of the late Ratan Tata Sir, we are postponing tomorrow’s #AskAjay until further notice.”

The actor also shared an emotional message for his last respects to the legendary icon. In his post, he penned, “The world mourns the loss of a visionary. Ratan Tata's legacy will forever inspire generations. His contributions to India and beyond are immeasurable. We are deeply grateful. Rest in peace, Sir.”

He endeared himself to several people thanks to his humility, kindness and an unwavering commitment to making our society better.” 

Professionally, Ajay will next appear in Singham Again alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. This action film is set to release in theaters this Diwali.
