In a recent discussion with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir Kapoor got all candid and talked about various aspects of his life, ranging from his love story with Alia, his work, and his relationship with his family members to his competition and much more.

During this conversation, when he was talking about his ideology, he said he believes in his work and his art and that he constantly wants to keep doing that. To this, he added that this process requires a person to make a lot of sacrifices, and it's not an easy journey, nor it's as glamorous as it looks from the outside.

Citing an example, he recounted his recent meeting with Aamir Khan and said, "I met him two years back, and he was in tears. I asked what had happened; he said I'd spent 30 years of my life, and now my only relationship is with my audience. I don't have a relationship with my children, but I don't have a relationship with my mother or his ex-wife, who was his wife then, and that's what this profession takes." Ranbir added, "You have to give it all, so the endeavour is also kind of to balance your real life with your reel life."

When Ranbir Kapoor was asked about competition in Bollywood, he mentioned actors like Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, and Kartik Aaryan. He emphasized that competition isn't just about the actors but also the opportunities and the specific films they work on. Kapoor noted that an actor's recognition might not come immediately, but the right role at the right time can change everything. He also complimented Kartik Aaryan, calling him very charismatic on screen.

Ranbir's upcoming projects include an adaptation of the Ramayana by Nitesh Tiwari, where he stars with Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, and Lara Dutta. Additionally, he's set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Love and War" and "Animal Park."

Meanwhile, talking about Aamir Khan, he was last seen in the film 'Laal Singh Chadha', which did not perform well at the box office. The actor will now be back with 'Sitaare Zameen Par' by this year's end.
