Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal jets off for Love and War Shoot

Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal are gearing up to start filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's highly anticipated romantic drama, Love and War. The film, which also stars Alia Bhatt, is one of the most eagerly awaited releases of 2026. On Monday morning, the duo was spotted together at Mumbai airport as they departed for the shoot.

A video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram captured Ranbir and Vicky inside the airport, both heading out of Mumbai for the project. Vicky showcased a fresh look for his role, sporting a moustache and wearing beige baggy pants with an olive green shirt. Ranbir opted for a more casual look, donning a blue jacket over a black tee and loose track pants.

Love and War marks the second collaboration between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the lead actors, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Initially slated for a Christmas 2025 release, the film's date has been pushed back to March 20, 2026. The movie was first announced in January 2024, with an Instagram post revealing the title and the original release date.

This project follows Bhansali's successful pairing with Alia in Gangubai Kathiawadi, for which she won the National Award for Best Actress. Her recent film, Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, did not perform well at the box office. Details about the storyline of Love and War remain under wraps, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film.
