Rakhi Verma to play Puneet's love interest...

Telly Buzz had earlier reported that Puneet Tejwani will play cupid in COLORS and Creative Eye's new show, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. We now give you more details on the guy's on screen love interest.

According to our source, "Madhav aka Puneet Tejwani's parents have already been introduced in the show. The parents of the boy are played by Amit Behl and Nupur Alankaar who happen to be related to the Vajpayee family. Madhav's entry will be aired either tonight or tomorrow. Soon, the girl's family will also be shown. Noted actor Muni Jha will play father to the girl Rashmi, while the very good looking Rakhi Verma has been finalized to play Madhav's love interest".

Rakhi Verma was earlier seen essaying the lead role in UTV Bindass' Sun Yaar Chill Maar. She was also seen in NDTV Imagine's Ghar Ki Baat Hai.

As per our source, "The creative team was looking for a beautiful girl to play this role. And Rakhi fits the bill perfectly. She is a very good actress and is gorgeous in appearance. With the entry of the girl's family in the show, elaborate preparations for their marriage will be shown".

However, there will be many a twists that will happen as this particular love story of Madhav and Rashmi unfolds. As reported earlier, this love story will prove to be an inspiration for the lovers-to-be, Abeer (Gaurav Khanna) and Lehar (Yami Gautam).

When called Muni Jha,  who has been finalized to play the girl's father, and he said, "I really cannot comment on my role as of now, because I have not started shooting".

We tried calling Rakhi Verma, but she remained unavailable.

We could not get a confirmation from Producer Dheeraj Kumar.

The girl's family will begin shoot very soon, and their entry is expected to be aired late this week.
