"Our film has a very good message at the end" - Abhinav Shukla

Popular actor Abhinav Shukla rose to fame with a TV show Jersy No.10 on SAB TV as the main lead. He was later seen in supporting roles in many shows like Geet Hui Sabse Parayi on Star One, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain on Star Plus, Chhoti Bahu.. Sindoor Bin Suhaagan on Zee TV and more.

The actor remained away from television after the show Badalte Rishton ki Daastan on Zee TV went off air. Now the actor is coming back but not on the small screen but with his debut film 'Roar' on the big screen.

We got in touch with Abhinav to know more about his film and his character.

Talking about his debut in the film Roar Abhinav says, "Yes, I am very excited for my first debut film. More than the film, I am excited to come back on the screen because I remained away from television from quite a long time. People kept on asking me that where are you, when are you coming back, what are you doing, so here is the answer-  I was working for my film project. We started shooting for the film from one and a half year which is a very big project and I really feel that I am lucky as I got a chance to make my debut with this film. There are many Television actors who were very popular and had a huge fan following, but I had average popularity on television and a fan following too and still I was lucky to bag the lead role in this big project. I am really happy and feeling blessed."

Abhinav's character looks very promising as he plays an army officer in the film. He tells us about the the gist of the movie in detail, "Our movie's trailer is already out and it was launched by Salman Khan and he actually watched the film and liked it. Our movie is based on the Sundarbans which is known for Tigers. I am playing the character of an army officer and my character name is Pandit. Pandit has a brother who goes to the Sundarban forest and is killed by the Tiger. So Pandit goes to the forest to collect the remains of the body of his bother to perform the last rites. Thus when he comes to know that his brother is killed by the tiger and many things are not in place in the forest, so he decides to get to the core of the matter and kill the victim who is doing all the crime in the forest.  Thus the story will revolve around the mission of Pandit. We have a very good message in the end of the story about Tigers which I cannot divulge about it now."

While the film's promo gives out a message to the audience, the dashing actor says that the idea of the film was to make people aware about the importance of animals in the country, "In our promo it is seen that our film is projecting Tigers in bad light as we got mails and calls from the people who are working for save tiger projects. But when you will watch the entire film you will get to know that the film is not projecting Tigers in bad light instead we are showing that they are endangered and the reason of decrease in their population. The population of Tigers has decreased from 10 Lakhs to 3 thousands and the statistics is true. So we are giving a message to the people where we are showing the importance of our national animal Tiger but that you will get to see when you watch the complete film."
