"I was to play the role of Karan in Mahabharat"

TellyBuzz got in touch with Kapil Nirmal who played the role of Nihal in Yash Patnaik's popular daily soap Veera on Star Plus, to know about his upcoming projects after doing Veera, the type of roles he is looking forward too and much more.

Here is what he said...

When we asked Kapil about his plans after doing Veera, he says that he doesn't believe in making plans, "I haven't thought of any plans after doing Veera. I believe that whenever I make plans they do not mostly work, so I prefer not to make plans. Whatever has to come my way will find its way to reach me and if it is really meant for me then I might do it also. Currently I am enjoying my much needed holidays. I am off to Goa and soon then will head to Himachal for a few days and will be back to work in Mumbai after that."

He wishes for a romantic genre based show to come his way, as it has been long that he has starred in such shows, "There is no particular role that I am looking forward too. All I wish for is to get a good role and a good show. Something that is very interesting and challenging. Also I haven't done any romantic show since long and if I get to do anything related to it then I would be more than happy to take it."

Kapil says that it was a pleasure and a fun being a part of the show Veera, "Being a part of  the show Veera was really fun. I have enjoyed my journey in the show. I have got to learn a lot from the show which will be very helpful to me in my career ahead. You get to learn a lot from the people you work with too. My co-actors were also great to work with, in fact the entire team was very lively and enthusiastic."

Veera has given him popularity says Kapil, "After doing the show Veera, the audience has really liked my work and they have appreciated me for the same. They have given me lots of love and I am really thankful to them, I wish to do hard work and give such good performances with whichever show I am a part of."

He was offered the ongoing mythological show Mahabharat, but due to some reasons it did not work out at the end, "I was offered the show Mahabharat. I was to play the role of Karan, everything was finalized but due to some issues I couldn't take up the show. But then I do not regret it because I feel whatever happens, happens for good."

But he loves watching the show Mahabharat, "Yes, I have been following Mahabharat after it has gone on air on television. The show is very interesting and I like to watch it too. I feel it is a very nice show."

Well, he doesn't even mind doing reality shows, "Yes I am very much open for doing reality based shows. I have done a few before too and I would like to do a dance based reality show if it comes my way, but not something like Bigg Boss."

It is like a dream for him to do films says Kapil, when we asked him about his love for movies and will we get to see him doing film further he said, "As being an actor it would be any actor's ultimate dream to do a film and so is mine."

He chose not to speak on the offers that he has in his kitty, "Well I wouldn't say that I have offers in my kitty or that I am waiting for the right opportunity or stuff. Simply I would say that if I take up something then the audience will get to know."
