Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal which went on air on Colors from mid-July had an equal number of people who liked and disliked the show. While some liked the show for it's so called fun element many thought that it was too loud!
Gaurav Gera, the actor who was much loved in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin had worked a lot on his character of Pammi in this show. With reports in the media about the show being suddenly pulled off air, Gaurav says he is ready for anything, "I have no reaction to such news any more. It doesn't bother me. All I can say is that I have to move on... I have had great fun doing the show and I enjoyed it while it was on. The production team, the channel, my co-stars everyone was good and I had a great experience all over."
According to Gaurav the reason for the abrupt closure of the show has to be the time slot. "The show was slotted for 7 pm which is a time when many people used to miss the telecast. They would tell me that they watch it on you tube." What was the response to the show? "The response was good and whoever saw it liked it too."
So what next? "Well, my musical show Jhumroo is going on and doing very well in Delhi." Gaurav was recently also seen in Tota weds Maina which too had to have an abrupt end due to the time slot and the show not getting good numbers. And will he try his hands at Television soon again? "Tv is a good medium but I don't know what I will do next? I cannot deal with the long working hours and stretched schedules so if someone is willing to adjust to that then I might think about something. Also I cannot do out and out comedy. I enjoy subtle, slice of life comedy which is something that I will look forward to."
Gaurav who is a bundle of talent now wants to shift his focus to the Internet too, "I was always very interested to do something for the net. I used to regularly upload episodes on youtube which I used to write, edit and produce myself but after getting busy with Jhumroo I sort of stopped doing it. But now I think I will again give time to it and I am more excited for that."

That's sad. The show started off nicely but they lacked a cohesive script - wish the channel would have given it more time. But so-called TRPs are hard to achieve by different shows on a list ruled by mostly regressive saas-bahu shows. Gaurav and Karan were terrific in the show.

Colors was unfair to NBHNYKK...(its a different thing that i never watched it)...and now colors is being partial to Mrs Pammi!! So sad...i liked Gaurav's character in it.
