"I had to keep some conditions before taking up Nach Baliye"

The ace comedian Raju Shrivastav who has entertained the audience with his comedy acts, and also got into politics is all set to entertain the audience with his dancing skills too in the upcoming season of the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye on Star Plus.

On the same we got in touch with Raju Shrivastav to know more about being a part of Nach Baliye, romance as the theme of the show this year, will we see his comic side too on the stage of Nach Baliye 6 and much more.

Sharing his experience of being a part of the dance reality show Nach Baliye 6, Raju says "I am very much excited to be a part of Nach Baliye 6. Dancing is something which neither I nor my wife has tried a hand at so it is going to be something really interesting for us and we are looking forward to the show."

Being part of the show came with some restrictions too and Raju Shrivastav kept certain terms and conditions to the channel before taking up the show Nach Baliye, says Raju "There have been no problem so far, just that my mother jokingly said that she has no problem in Bahu (his wife) taking part in Nach Baliye, but the only condition she has is that she has to put her saree palu on her head always (laughs). However, nothing of that sort is going to happen as she was just joking. But yes, since the theme this year is Romance, we have kept our conditions in front of the channel and the production house, as there are some things that we could not do at all, and they have happily agreed to it."

Raju Shrivastav will be seen as a complete package of entertainment on the show Nach Baliye 6, "I will entertain the audience with dancing as well as comedy acts too in this season of Nach Baliye 6. But well I am definitely going to be myself, it is nothing like the production or the channel has given me any script to the comedy punches in between the show, all is going to natural and on the spot."

From quite some time we had not see Raju Shrivastav on television. When we asked him about the same he says, "I was not away from television. I was getting a lot of offers but before taking up any offer there is a lot of thinking that goes into it. The channel, the show, the concept of the show etc; matters a lot too. Many a times it so happens that even though the show is good, the TRP of the channel itself is not good and hence nobody switches that channel to watch the show and vice versa. So I took my time to take up the right opportunity."

Being a fan of Amitabh Bachchan and the fact that the world knows about the same, he will not perform on Amitabhji's songs for a while, "Since everybody knows that I am a great fan of Amitabh Bachchan I won't be seen dancing on his numbers. I will keep the best at the end for the finale performance."

"Hope that the viewer's love my dance performance as much as they love my comedy acts" he concludes.
