'The bad guy' Adi in Balaji Telefilms' popular show Ye Hai Mohabbatein on Star
Plus. Gautam, who studies in Std. 8th, gets hate mails from the fans
of Ye Hai Mohabbatein for his character Adi.
TellyBuzz spoke to Gautam to know more about his real life, his bonding with his co-stars and much more in this conversation.
Tell us something about yourself?
I am a mastikhor bachcha. I am a very fun loving child.
Did you want to become an actor always?
Yes, I have always wanted to become an actor.
What kind of bonding you share with everyone on sets?
I mostly have my scenes to shoot with Karan bhaiya (Karan Patel) and Anita ma'am (Anita Hassanandani) and not with everyone so I share the best bonding with Karan bhaiya and I also share a good bonding with Divyanka ma'am (Divyanka Tripathi) and Anita ma'am.
What are your interests other than acting?
I like dancing and I am a trained dancer in every form.
What are your hobbies?
I like to draw. I love drawing.
Who are the naughtiest persons on the sets?
Shravan (Bhavesh Jaiswal) and I.
Do you get hate mails from the fans?
Yes, I do get hate mails from the fans. They say that everyone wants to slap Adi and that they hate Adi and not me. They say that if Adi will turn out to be a positive character they will start loving Adi too. They appreciate my work as Adi.
The response is good and they are liking my work.
What do you aspire to become?
I aspire to become a mechanical engineer or an actor.

if he stopped being an ass on the show i wouldn't mind him sometimes you just feel like stepping into the tv and throwing him off the empire state be a better person on the show dud and you may not get hate mails :D cheers!

Karan Patel! Youre a phenomenon! Had anyone else been playing Raman Kumar Bhalla's role, we'd NEVER be this convinced... its only because of your convincing portrayal of the character that we can actually feel it and think from his POV too... otherwise it was impossible! so hats off to you and Divyanka Tripathi for this fantabulous display of talents! Youve both just outdone yourselves with this track! Raman's helplessness, Ishita's hurt and pain... Too good! ;)

It's sad that even child actors aren't spared from hate mails. Even though Adi may be disliked as a character, Gautam Ahuja is definitely improving as an actor each day and definitely should not be subjected to hate directed at Adi.

How mature do you have to be to send hate mail to a CHILD? how would you feel if your child has harrassed and called names? do people on tv not have feelings? hes doing a PAID JOB! just like you go to work for money hungry bank or corrupt government. JEEZZZ!!!!! GROW UP!!!
