Jhanak: Jhanak halts work, prioritises Aniruddha’s recovery over career

Tonight's episode of Jhanak opens with a heated argument between Jhanak and Arshi. Jhanak is determined to maintain order in the hospital room where Aniruddha is being treated, but she is worried that Arshi might create unnecessary chaos. Despite Jhanak's concerns, neither Arshi nor Srishti are willing to listen to her and forcefully head toward Aniruddha's room. Feeling disrespected and exhausted, Jhanak struggles with the continuous mistreatment. Aditya and Chhoton try to encourage her to focus on the work she came to Kolkata for, but Jhanak refuses, unwilling to engage in any work until Aniruddha's health improves.

As Arshi and Srishti attempt to barge into Aniruddha's room, a nurse intervenes and stops them, allowing only Arshi to enter. Once inside, as soon as Arshi approaches Aniruddha, his pulse rate begins to spike dangerously. Despite his critical condition, Arshi confronts Aniruddha, accusing him of being involved with Jhanak, which only worsens his health. Her shouting leads to an escalation, forcing the hospital staff to remove her from the room. Arshi feels humiliated when she is denied access to her own husband's room while others are allowed.

Appu arrives at the hospital:

Seeing the patient's worsening condition, the doctor urgently requests Jhanak to enter the room to help calm Aniruddha. Overcome with emotion, Jhanak steps in, and her presence immediately stabilises Aniruddha. The medical staff asks her to remain by his side to ensure his steady recovery. Aniruddha, in a fragile state, makes a special request for Jhanak to be the first person he sees after his surgery, and she promises to be there for him.

Shortly after, Appu arrives at the hospital and is overwhelmed with anxiety upon learning about Aniruddha's condition. Upset that she wasn't informed earlier, she becomes even more distressed. Although she desperately wants to visit Aniruddha, the current situation makes it impossible. Appu breaks down in tears upon hearing about the severity of the upcoming surgery, and her emotional outburst frustrates Bipasha and Shubha. Lalan is asked to take Appu away, but she refuses to leave Aniruddha's side, despite the insults hurled at her by Shubha and Tanuja, who treat her as an outsider. Appu resolves to stay at the hospital until Aniruddha's operation is complete, and she begins praying for her brother in a quiet corner.

Meanwhile, Vipasha urges the nurse to put an end to the disturbances caused by Appu's breakdown. However, the nurse hesitates, not wanting to interrupt Appu's heartfelt prayers. As the surgery begins, Appu's concern deepens, and the tension continues to mount.
