"I am clear that I have to be the central character" - Ridhima Pandit

The actress talks about what's next on the cards and how she wishes to take things further.

Ridhima Pandit aka Robot Rajni from Bahu amari Rajni_kant had everyone in awe of her where her acting skills were also well appreciated. Post that, she went on to do a comedy show, The Drama Company, and it was only last week that her web series with Shamita Shetty and others, 'Yo Ke Hua Bro' released on Voot.

With so much happening for her already, she is also all set to star in a Marathi film. And, we got in touch with her to know what further plans does she have in the fiction space.

Asked about if there's anything happening on TV anytime soon, she said, "I have got a lot of daily soap offers, but I am being really very careful with what I pick up. It is obviously a big commitment that you make when you're taking up a daily soap. Now is the time to work hard, like I am in the middle of choosing what next."

We quizzed her if there's anything that's stopping her from doing daily soaps, she said, "Nothing is stopping me, it's just that Bahu Hamari Rajni_kant was all about me. I am not telling that I want a show which has to be about me only, but I am clear that I have to be the central character."

"I am looking out for things which are very realistic. You know like in the 90s we had such amazing shows like Hasratein, Astitva, those were women centric shows talking about real life situations and the kind that could happen to anyone. There isn't anything that I am particularly looking for. For me, it is never say never. Television is my backbone, and I wouldn't focus on something else without focusing on Television," she added.
