Yuvika Chaudhary, Mona Singh, Riddhima Pandit, Priyanka Chopra and more actresses who freezed their eggs

With women gaining financial independence and prioritizing themselves over what society dictates to them, the age of attaining motherhood has seen a huge shift in urban areas. And increasing number of women are becoming mothers after the age of 30. Late pregnancies come with their own share of challenges. Yuvika Chaudhary has said that she froze her eggs two years back, and Prince Narula was equally supportive of the same. He said the egg and sperm quality of men and women tend to decline after a period of time. He said it was particularly true in case of smokers. 

Mona Singh

Mona Singh said her family gynecologist advised her mother and her to get her eggs freezed. He told her it would take the pressure of marrying early just for the sake of a baby. He told her that she would have a back-up when if she decided to tie the knot five years down the line. Mona Singh thought it made sense and froze her eggs. She took a complete break from work, and did it in Pune, her hometown. 

Ridhima Pandit

Ridhima Pandit is another TV actress who decided to freeze her eggs. She said the decision has made her feel liberated and free. Ridhima Pandit did it in September 2022. She said some of her friends are also doing the same.

Ekta Kapoor who welcomed home son Ravie via surrogacy in 2019 decided to freeze her eggs when she was 36. The TV czarina said that she knew that she would not marry soon very early in life. She said the awareness that her marriage might happen very late prompted this decision. 

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra had also frozen her eggs when she was younger. She said she did not opt for a biological birth as she had some medical complications. Priyanka Chopra said it was a necessary step. She had only nice things to say about the surrogate mother of her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. When people said that she chose surrogacy because she is too career-oriented, she said she does not wish to make her medical history public. Priyanka Chopra said no one knows what she has been through. She said people simply made assumptions.
