"Everyday is a birthday for me" - RaQesh Vashisth

Birthday boy RaQesh Vashisth believes that birthday is no longer an exciting occasion when you grow up, especially for an actor who gains attention everyday!

From a chocolate boy avatar in a movie Tum Bin to a dashing chemistry teacher in Gippi, actor RaQesh Vashisth has always charmed the audience with his flawless acting skills and cute screen presence. This actor who also tried his hands in the television industry and has left a mark with popular shows like Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak? and Saath Phere, turns a year wiser today!

One of RaQesh's good friend shared with TellyBuzz that the actor had a birthday bash cum house warming party last night, where in only his near and dear one's were a part of it. Therefore, on this momentous day, we got in touch with Raqesh to unveil more facts about his special day.

When asked RaQesh about the excitement and joyful day of his life, his birthday the actor says, "During my childhood, my birthday was the only day when I used to get a lot of attention. However, after becoming an actor, I think everyday is a birthday for me. I feel so blessed and touched with all the love and appreciation my sweet fans keep pouring on me."

Furthermore, the actor went on to say, "At a certain level in your life, birthdays are no longer exciting as such, yet we look forward to it as one of the occasions when you get to meet your friends and loved one's together. And I'm really happy I have some very good friends in my life."

Recalling his childhood memory concerning birthday, RaQesh shared with TellyBuzz, "I was a very fussy child and I used to prefer celebrating my birthday with nature. So I used to move out of the house and go for trekking on the mountains. But, once my Mom made me understand that its very important to share this day with your family and friends."

Interestingly, once my Mom also organized a birthday celebration for me and decorated the entire house with garden flowers. In fact, she specially decorated a chair with flowers and made me sit there like a prince, and I found that so filmy. (Laughs)

Talking about his most memorable birthday gift in 34 years, RaQesh says, "My last year surprise birthday party, which was planned and organized by my wife Ridhi Dogra Vashisth, has been the best gift for me till now. It turned out to be more memorable and touching to me because as I'm an ardent painter, all my paintings very displayed on the walls and ceiling of the venue which made the party more special."

Lastly, having being wished by so many fans and followers, RaQesh mentioned a special thanks to all his India-Forums fans for their ever lasting love and support.
