#PVSindhu: Shuttler becomes 1st Indian woman to win SILVER medal; TV celebs go GAGA!

The lady has made this nation proud and created a history..

She fought like a warrior. She didn't give up. She may have lost the gold, but she won over a million hearts. Ace shuttler, P V Sindhu played her best game of badminton ever and won the SILVER medal at the Rio Olympics 2016.

Winning the first set, Sindhu went on to lose the next two sets, thus resulting in a loss which meant Spaniard shuttler, Carolina Marin won the Gold Medal. However, not only did everyone witness a rollicking and rocking final, there is nothing but RESPECT for PV Sindhu, who gave her all and maintained her never-say-die attitude.

Country is proud of you and Sakshi, for giving the country medal, to give we ppl reason to rejoice, to make us all proud of the fact that we stay in a country where girls like you, Sakshi, Dipa and Aditi stay.
