Pushpa 2 back on track? Here's when Allu Arjun, Sukumar will wind up the shoot of the masala entertainer

Pushpa 2 is one of the big movies of 2024, and it has been making news since two months. Of late, we heard too many rumours of how Allu Arjun and Sukumar are having issues, which led to them delaying the shoot. They also said that lack of planning led to the budget being overshot, and producers are a lot worried lot. It seems Allu Arjun went off for a vacation and then when Sukumar headed out of the country for a trip, he returned to India. These stories made fans worried about the future of Pushpa 2. 

The movie is slated to release in December 2024 and there is still some work pending. But now, it looks the the team has reassembled and set a deadline to wrap up things. As per reports on social media, the shoot will end by September 20, 2024. The makers will be shooting two different climaxes for the movie. One of them will be selected seeing its impact to the whole film. When fans saw Allu Arjun sporting a much neater look at the airport they wondered if they had started work on some other movie. But then sources reassured fans that in Pushpa 2, he will be a don so people can expect a more polished look of Pushpa Raj.

It seems work is on in full swing to make the sets for the climax. There were reports on Sukumar going back and forth on the script. This is why sets could not be demolished in Ramoji Film City, and producers were paying rents in lakhs when no shoot happened on the sets. Senior actors came on the sets but did not give a single take. The fact that the first songs of Pushpa 2 did not create much buzz has also worried makers. 

As per reports, the non-theatrical business of the film is already above Rs 1,000 crores. But Allu Arjun has given almost three years to this film and now fans are getting a bit impatient. He has a film planned with Atlee in the coming months. Also, actors like Rashmika Mandanna have charged huge fees to give bulk dates to the film. If the shoot indeed wraps up by September 2024, people will heave a sigh of relief.
