Pulkit Samrat wants to star in the remake of Salman Khan's THIS film

Remakes are the new trend in the industry. We have films like Judwaa 2, Ittefaq among others which are a perfect example of successful remake films.

Recently, we caught up with Pulkit Samrat for his upcoming rom-com film 'Veerey Ki Wedding' not to be confused with Veere Di Wedding, Samrat was asked if given a choice, in which remake of Salman Khan's film would he like to star in, to which he stated, "It has to be Love (1991). A nice film with such a pure story. And the girl has to be someone like a Revathi. The honesty that comes across from both of them with their characters in that film is superb. Love is such a simple film that's why it is difficult to make a remake of the same".

Earlier, when Salman Khan was asked to name one actor who he wishes to star in the remake of Love, he had stated Varun Dhawan's name. For that matter, Varun and Pulkit both have the potential to play Salman's role in that film.

Both Salman Khan and Pulkit Samrat have a great bond which was disrupted when Pulkit ended his marriage with Shweta Rohira who happens to be Salman's Rakhi sister. But all looked well when recently Salman visited the team of Fukrey Returns at their promotions.

On the work front, Pulkit's last film Fukrey Returns was a crackling hit at the box office by entering the 100 crore club. For 2018, he has Veerey Ki Wedding which releases on 2^nd March and 3 Storeys which is slated to release on 9^th March.
