Priyanka Chopra kicks off filming for thrilling new movie 'The Bluff' in Australia

Priyanka Chopra has begun filming her next project, the thriller The Bluff, in Australia. The 41-year-old actress shared the exciting news on her Instagram story on Friday, posting a snapshot of the script from a reading session and captioning it, "It begins..."

Just a few days earlier, Priyanka shared a video documenting her arrival in Australia with her daughter, Malti Marie Jonas. 

The video starts with a stunning aerial view from the plane and ends with Malti looking out of a window at the airport, later seen playing on a tablet while resting her head on Priyanka's lap. She captioned the video, "Touchdown..The Bluff. With the best travel partner ever."

Directed by Frank Ewen Flowers, The Bluff also features The Boys actor Karl Urban. The film is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO, marking Priyanka's second collaboration with the studios after the spy action series Citadel, which stars Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville. Citadel has already been renewed for a second season.

In The Bluff, Priyanka will portray a former female pirate who must protect her family when mysterious sins from her past resurface, as described by IMDb's official synopsis.

Besides her work on The Bluff, Priyanka has also joined Barry Avrich’s upcoming documentary Born Hungry as a producer. Additionally, she lent her voice to a real-life tigress in Disney Nature’s film Tiger, which was released on April 22 in celebration of Earth Day.
