Prachi Hada aka Keerat of ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’ talks about surviving a tragic accident on the sets

Star Plus show ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’ is getting quite intense with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around Seerat eloping on her wedding day with Angad. She has taken away the expensive jewelry along with a few outfits and intends to get married with Garry. However, Garry will put down Seerat’s demand of getting married.

While the show is high on drama and tragedy, the off-screen atmosphere on the sets also became intense with a shocking accident. Yes, you read that right!  The sequence had Keerat played by actress Prachi Hada in an autorickshaw and amidst the shoot, the rickshaw turned upside down hurting the actor and the people involved. 

India Forums got in touch with Prachi to know more about the accident, she said, “Well, thankfully, we’re all safe and fine. While it was a major accident, we’re grateful that we didn’t get hurt that much. I got injuries on my arms and head. The scene had around four to five people involved and everyone somehow got injured but we’re glad to have such a co-operative production house, they really acted promptly and made sure we receive instant aid. They were kind enough to ask if we require a day off, but considering the telecast issue, I thought it’s better to shoot”

Giving out a message to fans, Prachi said, “I would just want to tell them that it’s not really that easy to shoot for long hours. We do take precautions but at times things go out of hand and such accident happen unknowingly. I’m very thankful and grateful to the production house for being so considerate”.
