Recently at the song launch of his upcoming film '102 Not Out', Amitabh Bachchan who is the ambassador for Government's 'Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao' initiative, was asked to comment on the Kathua and Unnao rape case.
The Megastar had refused to comment on it and shared that he feels disgusted to even talk about it.
"Mujhe uss vishay par charcha karne mein ghinn aati hai. So uss vishay ko uchhalo mat (I feel disgusted even talking about it. So, don't rake up this issue). It's terrible to even talk about it", said Big B.
However, it seems, this reaction by Amitabh didn't go down well with actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who called out on him and reminded people about his film "Pink" where he had played the character of a lawyer who fought endlessly to defended a woman's right to consent!
She posted on her twitter account: "I can't help being reminded of a film called Pink. Can our images on screen please be reflected in reality?"
Soon after her comment went viral, twitteratis started slamming her and called her an alcoholic.
Here are few of the tweets that trolled Pooja:
"A known alcoholic trying to gain publicity by using the name of a legend." Pooja, who quit drinking in December 2016, replied: "A 'recovering' alcoholic and proud of it. In a country where people don't even acknowledge they have a drinking problem, let alone discuss it, I am grateful to stand away from the crowd that considers holding your frailties to light shameful. #485dayssober." wrote one Twitter user.
The other posted: "Only brainless thakelis like Pooja Bhatt would even think of comparing movie roles or fictional stories to real life issues."

One user even reminded her of Kangana Ranaut and questioned her as to why she didn't come out in her support during her battle.

One user even pointed out how people are abusing actresses who raised their voices and that no one from Bollywood defended those actresses.

He did mention it is a shameful act, which it is, but does what does talking about it really do? Raise awareness? People are already aware of everything. It is really annoying when people are asked about expressing opinions on everything bad that happens with everyone.

Pooja is absolutely correct. Amithab bachan is a coward. He opens mouth only when trying to sell his movies and ads. He should be slammed for his silence on the matter. His silence is more disgusting than talking about it. SHAME ON BLOODY A BACHAN. SPINELESS RAT. SWINE.

I don't get why Pooja Bhatt is getting bashed. There is nothing in her tweet that is remotely in bad taste against Mr. Bachchan. She said the movie reflects reality and what's wrong in it? If a woman makes herself heard, the world will only try to shame her.

I don't think Mr. Bachchan was wrong!!!! He didn't want to talk about it and frankly is it anything good that one has to talk about it?? It is shameful!!!
