Photos: Raj Kundra looks pale, distressed as he is released from Jail

Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman, Raj Kundra who was under judicial custody for the last two months was released today from the Arthur Road Jail.

He was arrested on account of making pornography films illegally.

After a thorough investigation, on July 19, 2021, Mumbai Police arrested Raj Kundra for illegally making pornographic films and uploading them on Hotshots app.

He was charged with violating various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.

On Saturday, September 18, 2021, Raj filed a bail application in a Mumbai Court citing that there were no evidences attained by the Police against him.

In his petition he has also shared that there were no evidence in the supplementary charge sheet to prove that he was actively involved in the creation of alleged questionable content.

On September 20, 2021, Raj's petition was accepted and he was granted bail after several attempts and a surety of Rs. 50,000.

From the jail to his car, he was being escorted by a police officer as a huge crowd had gathered to see him.
