Nora Fatehi expresses desire to portray Helen in her biopic

Nora Fatehi, popular for her chart-topping songs like "Garmi," "Manike," and "Dilbar," paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary actress Helen during an award show recently. The sensational dancer known for her electrifying moves, once again left the audience spellbound with her recent performance in Abu Dhabi. Nora's graceful dance to iconic Helen songs like "Piya Tu" and "Aaj Ki Raat" struck a chord with the spectators and won their hearts.

In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Nora revealed the meticulous preparation she undertook before taking the stage. She immersed herself in Helen's videos, studying every minute detail of the veteran actress's movements. 

Nora shared that she really studied all her videos properly, even the breathing spaces of the shoulder movements, the hands, and just the aura! She had to be feminine, be poised, and also she had to be very flirty.

The conversation turned to the possibility of Nora portraying Helen in a biopic dedicated to the iconic actress. Without hesitation, Nora expressed her deep honour at the prospect. Drawing parallels between herself and Helen, Nora said, "Of course, that would be an honour! I mean, if the filmmakers ever think of me because I feel like we have so many similarities. She came from a different country, I did. It was tough for both of us. We were introduced to the world through dance, and that too in a different genre of dance. We changed what dance meant in cinema. If anyone would need to embody that and really show what that emotion is, I think I would really be able to connect with that. But, of course, it would be an honour."

As she continues to make waves in the industry, Nora is set to appear in Sajid Khan's upcoming film '100%' alongside Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, and Shehnaaz Gill.
