Nitu Chandra's journey from her debut in the action franchise "Never Back Down: Revolt" to her prominent presence in Hollywood has been an inspiration. Indian Actress and Producer Nitu Chandra want to thank Marvel Entertainment for offering her to match the voice for playing Judy Stark.

Teaming up with audio storytelling brands Audible and Marvel, Nitu Chandra is a part of Marvel's Wastelanders: Black Widow. This original podcast series in Hindi is set in a post-apocalyptic future timeline where supervillains have established a new world order after vanquishing almost all the good guys. Now, it is up to the remaining superheroes — many of them hiding — to team up again and regain order.

Nitu, who takes on the role of Judy Stark, says the more she read the script, the more she understood why the makers wanted her to play this role. "I felt an incredible connection with the character. Judy Stark's ability to strategically time her moves resonates deeply with me. When offered the opportunity to lend my essence to this captivating journey of a spy-assassin, I was filled with excitement, and without hesitation, I wholeheartedly accepted," she says.

"Having experienced the brilliance of the original series and Susan Sarandon's fabulous performance, our journey in creating the Hindi adaptation has been exhilarating. As an artist, this opportunity allows me to infuse my emotional arc into the character of Judy Stark, distinctly exploring her complexities and nuances," Nitu adds.

The star also says that she is game for a live-action Marvel series in the future (of Wastelanders or otherwise), maybe even something that could recreate her on-screen. "I hope so! It'd be quite cool, even though I'm not quite in the zone to do action sequences right now, right after my Hollywood movie. But yes, after the dub is done, why not?" grins Nitu.

On the work front, Nitu Chandra is back in India and reading a lot of scripts for Bollywood projects.
