'Nimki Mukhiya' fame Bhumika Gurung to get married in March

Actor Bhumika Gurung, who is best known for her role in the Star Bharat show, Nimki Mukhiya is all set to tie the knot in March. Yes! That's right. The actor has been dating restaurateur Shekhar Malhotra for well over a year now and she is all set to make it official by engaging in holy matrimony.

Needless to say, Gurung is extremely happy and went on to talk about it at length in an interview with ETimes TV.

The date for the occasion is yet to be finalised but it is certain that the wedding will take place in March. Sharing an adorable story of him proposing she mentioned how a year ago he proposed her but she would jokingly tell him that until he doesn't go down on his knees, she wouldn't say yes. Then, on her birthday, he went on his knees and proposed to her where she said yes. Post that, her friends would tease them and make him propose to her multiple times and he would sweetly do it.

Talking about the wedding plans, Gurung said, "A lot of my friends from out of Mumbai want to book their tickets, but I keep telling them that the date is yet to be finalised. The wedding is surely happening in Mumbai because most of our relatives and friends are here. Every day I look at the calendar and I think that there is so much to do and barely any time. Shekhar and I have divided the work equally between us because we don’t want to burden our parents. Every now and then I have to push him to do stuff because he is a total workaholic and loses track of time.”
