Nidhi Shah clears the air of dating her co-star

Anupamaa co-stars Aashish Mehrotra and Nidhi Shah shared a cosy picture on Instagram, sparking rumours that the on-screen couple is also dating in real life. However, Nidhi promptly responded, denying the rumors and emphasizing that they are just good friends, respecting the audience's need for accurate information.

Speaking to the media, Nidhi explained that they were all out for dinner and took the picture for fun, given their on-screen couple status. 

She further clarified the situation by posting a message on social media, stating, "To all my well wishers and members of the Media.Lately there has been news circulating about me and my co actor. The news is fake. Kindly double check with us or confirm the same before speculating."

Nidhi Shah and Aashish Mehrotra have worked together on their show since 2020. While they portray a couple on screen, rumours of their off-screen romance only surfaced recently after the pictures circulated online.
