Anupamaa: Anuj suspects Shruti's odd behaviour

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) inquires if Shruti (Sukirti Kandpal) will join him in heading to Shah's house now or if she'll come later. Shruti questions why he's going so early. Anuj explains that since it's a wedding house, there are numerous tasks to handle. He mentions that Dimple is like a daughter to him, and being there allows him to assist Baa and Babu ji. He also notes that he has dropped Aadhya there and wants to see her, even though she is well cared for by others. He then asks Shruti if she wants him to wait for her. Just then, Shruti receives a message from a food critic, which Anuj notices. Shruti tells him she needs some time to get ready and suggests he go ahead. Anuj leaves, feeling puzzled by Shruti's odd behaviour and suspecting she might be insecure about seeing him and Anu together.

Meanwhile, Aadhya is helping the younger children with their meal. Anupama remarks that when an elder child is present, the younger ones often see them as a leader and follow their lead. Baa invites Aadhya to eat, and Kavya volunteers to feed her. Kavya then signals to Anupama to come and feed Aadhya herself. Anupama places a bite of food in Aadhya's mouth, feeling emotional as she does so. The others watch, and when Aadhya is about to notice Anupama, she hides behind Kavya. Anupama thanks Kavya and continues to feed Aadhya. Baa expresses concern to Babu ji about leaving because of their deep family ties, but Babu ji insists that they must go.

Devika follows Vanraj:

Vanraj wonders aloud where Titu's friend has disappeared. Anupama steps in his way, prompting him to complain that she is obstructing him and predicting his task won't succeed. Anupama retorts, hoping his wrong intentions fail. As Vanraj leaves, Devika announces she will follow him. She does so discreetly. Anupama shares her suspicions with Kavya, noting that something feels amiss with Vanraj's plans and vowing to thwart them if they aren't already foiled. Dimple approaches, worried about her makeup and lehenga fitting. Anupama reassures her, saying she will be the most beautiful bride in the world. Dimple admits she has a sense that something might go wrong, but Anupama confidently assures her that everything will be fine.

Anupama steps out to fetch sweets and sits in Anuj's car. Anuj, looking troubled, confides that he couldn't sleep and has been in a dilemma. Suddenly, Anupama hears Baa approaching and asks Anuj to let her go, which he does. Meanwhile, Devika trails Vanraj and overhears a conversation between him and an inspector about an address they need to visit. She realises Vanraj is behind her and claims to have recorded everything to show Baa and Babu ji. Vanraj laughs, dismisses her threat, and taunts her to tell Anupama to focus on breaking Shruti and Anuj's relationship instead of saving Dimple and Titu's marriage.

Shruti meets Ms. Smith:

At a restaurant, Shruti meets Ms. Smith. Ms Smith mentions Shruti's disappearance after the spice and chutney incident, which Shruti recalls Anuj defending as not Anupama's fault. Ms. Smith explains she reported the incident to health authorities and media due to Shruti's persistence. Shruti reflects that her aim was to shut down spice and chutney and force Anupama back to India, not anticipating the issue would escalate so much. Ms. Smith thanks Shruti and praises her for ensuring justice. They celebrate with a toast.

Anupama, sitting at a nearby table, recognises Ms Smith and confronts her, accusing her of spreading false and damaging news about spice and chutney. She insists it was sabotage orchestrated by Gulati, with Shruti's knowledge, and vows to return to America to clear her name. Ms. Smith leaves, and Anuj ends a call as Aadhya rushes to hug him. He mentions his sleepless nights worrying about her, and Aadhya shares her happiness about caring for the kids. Dimple arrives to call Aadhya, and Anuj playfully teases Dimple. She resolves to fight for their love until the end.

Shruti accuses Anupama:

Anupama confronts Shruti, accusing her of attacking her work, colleagues, and dreams instead of addressing their issues directly. Shruti retorts, questioning Anupama's proof and accusing her of ruining personal lives. Anupama counters, emphasising the damage to her professional life. When Anuj calls Shruti, she ends the call, prompting Anuj to call Anupama. Shruti questions why Anuj is calling Anupama. Anupama insists on understanding why Shruti targeted her. Shruti accuses Anupama of trying to steal Anuj, intentionally coming to New York to win him over, and disrupting their impending marriage. Anupama is left stunned.
