Newly-wedded couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal came for the Aashirwaad ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. They were not seen for the main nuptials of the couple. Incidentally, her brothers Luv and Kush Sinha had come with their mother Poonam Sinha. Sonakshi attended the event in a red anarkali, and her look was reminiscent of that in her wedding party. We can see the young couple beam with joy as they pose with Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The Sinha family did not attend yesterday’s function. Zaheer Iqbal is the son of Iqbal Ratansi who is the childhood friend of Salman Khan. 

Sonakshi Sinha had the bridal fervor as she wore a suit in the deep hue of red. It had work done in gold. The actress highlighted the look with a gold parandi and huge chandbalis. A bindi adorned her forehead. Fans said she is just looking like a wow. Zaheer Iqbal wore a black open button sherwani over a shirt and matching pants. He was dapper in that avatar. The couple had a very minimal wedding in June. They tied the knot with a civil ceremony at her residence. There were no Hindu or Muslim rituals.

The absence of her brother Luv Sinha from her marriage raised quite a few questions. Actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha said his family is a target of a vicious online smear campaign. He said there are disagreements in every family but things are being falsely reported for them. The veteran said the bonds are still intact.
