New mom Richa Chadha treats herself to some self-care, says 'Screw every single person who won’t…'

It's been about a month since Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal celebrated the arrival of their first child. Since then, Richa has been giving us a peek into her journey as a new mom on social media. Recently, she mentioned how she's longing for travel and highlighted the round-the-clock nature of motherhood. In a recent post, she shared a picture treating herself to some self-care and expressed how challenging it is for moms to even find time for a relaxing shower.

The Fukrey star hopped on her Instagram stories and shared a bathroom selfie. In the snap, she sported a pout, wearing a face mask, with her hair dripping wet. Captioning the photo, she penned, “Screw every single person who won’t let a mom shower in peace, even once a week.”

Just last week, Richa Chadha posted several stunning photos of herself. Alongside the pictures, she revealed her wish for a solid eight hours of uninterrupted sleep. The new mom wrote, “BRB dreaming of eight uninterrupted hours of sleep. Good night to you. Good morning to me. Bye #NewMomStruggles #brainfogbegone #NoNinni”

Before that, she shared a life update with her fans, explaining how she was adjusting to this new chapter. Through a selfie, she reassured her followers that she wasn't disappearing but simply occupied with her new role.

“I haven’t disappeared. I just have a new job. My boss needs me 24x7, there are no off days. Meet the baby. Some days are filled with family, food, fun, and feeds,” she wrote adding “BRB, with hatchling!” in the post’s caption. Towards the end of her post, she also surprised everyone with a video of her little one.

Richa and Ali Fazal tied the knot on October 4, 2022, in Lucknow. A few years later, on July 16, 2024, they welcomed their first daughter. On the professional front, Richa is gearing up to return to work and begin shooting for a comedy film. Ali, on the other hand, is lined up to appear in Metro In Dino, followed by Lahore 1947 in 2025.
