Neetu Kapoor a popular actress, she made her return to the industry with Karan Johar's Jugjugg Jeeyo in 2020, post her husband Rishi Kapoor passed away. In a recent episode of the web show Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives Season 3, she revealed her initial hesitation to jump back into work due to fears of potential trolling. However, her children, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor, motivated her to pursue her career again.
Recently, as her daughter Riddhima joined the show Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives Season 3, the veteran actress made an appearance in one of the episodes. During her time on the show, she reflected on the challenging phase she experienced in her life.
Recalling how she decided to work, the actress said, "After Papa (Rishi) went…I was not ready. You know how the trolls are. But you (Riddhima and Ranbir) pushed me. I did a show, I did ads. I used to shake before going."
Neetu Kapoor married Rishi in 1980, enjoying a successful 40-year marriage. However, his passing was a significant loss for her. She reflected on those tough years and mentioned that she chose to take her time and seek new opportunities in life.
She said, "If I stayed home and didn't do anything, I'd go crazy. Today, I feel much better. I wasn't good even until last year."
On the professional side, Neetu Kapoor made her television debut as a judge on Dance Deewane Juniors in 2022. She is also set to appear in the upcoming film Letters to Mr. Khanna, alongside Sunny Kaushal.
