Neela Telefilms to make a saas-bahu saga for COLORS..

Neela Telefilms, makers of popular shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV and Krishnaben Khakrawala on Sony will now be venturing into saas-bahu drama with their new show on COLORS.

A little birdie tells us, "Neela Telefilms is now working on a unique concept which is tentatively titled 'Bahu Wahi Jo Saas Mann Bhaye'.. The story focusses on the mindset of a lady who is the mother of three sons. The story focuses on the other side of the saas-bahu saga wherein the Saas will always bow down to her Bahu".

Talking further, our source informs, "The USP of the show is that the mother of the sons matches her kundli with the girl's kundli first to know whether she will be tormented by her bahu in future or not. This mindset of hers comes from the fact that her own daughter has created havoc in her sasural and has kept her mother-in-law under control".

We hear that the major casting of the show is going on, and the production house is trying to rope in known actors.

"Talks are apparently on with Prasad Barve and Roshni Chopra, who are currently seen in Neela Telefilms' ongoing show on Star Plus, Pyaar Mein Twist", adds our source.

However, when contacted, Prasad Barve and Roshni Chopra remained clueless of such a development.

When contacted, Producer Asit Modi told us, "Yes, I am making a show on COLORS, but can't reveal anything as it is in its nascent stage".

Well, this story line indeed sounds different for a change!!

m sure dey will use all the theories of EKTA KAPOOR.......CAUSE EKTA HAS USED ALL THE CONCEPTS N THEORIES RGRDNG D TOPIC.. n seriously, if dey are thinking to give competiton to SOAP QUEEN EKTA KAPOOR, DEFINITELY THEY WILL FAIL WID A BANG..!!!

isn't dat d case wid u ?! well FYI it was d Channel's decision 2 shift Bairi Piya on after-noon slot without consulting BT !! BT 's not some regular PH which can b treated like dat so d result 's BP went off-air all thanks 2 dose air-headed colors ppl !! & FYI it 's NOT liked by *just few* as it went off-air wid 2+ TRP's & was maintaining its TOP-20 TRP list till d very end which means it was *still* doing good business fr d channel (confirmed by Programing Head of colors Ashwini Yardi) !! while shows like Bhagyavidhaata etc were still on-air wid 0-1 TRP's but our show went off-air due 2 some ego hassles btwn channel vs. PH which can never be accepted by its viewers !!

hope now u kno ALL d lil facts behind our *moaning* :) !!

p.s. try not 2 use all caps (which 's considered as yelling/rude on net) we can read it without dem :) !!

@aadaa, you are partially right although, would like to point out that ads & sponsorships are generally managed by the channels not PHs. The rights to the show once aired also in many cases belong to the channel, which is why so many shows go for a six somewhere down the line. PHs loose control over their baby & the channel will have the final say. As for making shows that appeal to many & not just a few....one glove doesn't fit all hands...the channels are ofcourse aware of this which is why we have DIFFERENT GENRES of shows so that I don't have to watch the same bilge as some imbecile sitting elsewhere!

who wants to see these rubblish same sauas bahu and sazish show we fed and decide to not watch colors again its took off air bairi piya show the main interest for me in this channel
