While there are total four Navratris, one of which - the ongoing Chaitri Navratri is celebrated with equal devotion as Sharad Navratri- the nine nights of garba and raas. But today as it marks the eighth day of these auspicious nine-days, we bring you some of the most sought after Devi's from Indian mythological TV shows....

Starring Mrinal Kulkarni as the lead protagonist, Draupadi, a show based on the most important character from the Hindu mythology Mahabharata aired on Sahara One from 2001 to late 2002. From her intense acting skills to the finery and jewellery that she wore, Mrinal left everyone stunned with her Draupadi act.

Mouni Roy as Sati in Life Ok's Devon Ke Dev Mahadev needs no introduction. Although unlike her real-life image of glam girl, Mouni slayed the role of Sati. Her performance was loved by the audience and so were her Amrapali style outfits and traditional jewellery. From here on Mouni became the household name we know!

Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishnodevi, a show that recently completed 100 episodes, started to leave the Star Bharat audience mesmerised with it's story and cast from September 2019, headlined by the beautiful Puja Banerjee. Puja looked extremely convincing courtesy her Devi-like beauty!

Pooja Sharma as Goddess Parvati, Mahakali, Navdurga, Sati and varied other incarnations of Shakti in Colors TV's Mahakali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai. Her strong portrayal and each avatar kept the audience glued to this show during it's runtime.
