Natasa Stankovic makes her first public appearance since returning from Serbia amidst divorce

Natasa Stankovic, the estranged wife of Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, has returned to India with their son Agastya after an extended stay in her native Serbia. The actress, who has been in the news lately due to her ongoing divorce proceedings, was seen out and about in Mumbai’s Bandra on Wednesday evening. Natasha looked effortlessly chic in a black strappy pleated long dress, which she paired with aviator eyeglasses. Her radiant smile and warm demeanor as she posed for the paparazzi made her appearance even more striking.

Following her separation from Hardik, Natasha had traveled to Serbia with Agastya. The couple, who initially married in May 2020, had renewed their wedding vows according to Hindu and Christian traditions in February 2023. 

However, they confirmed their separation in July 2024. In their joint statement, they described the decision as a “tough” one and committed to co-parenting their son, Agastya. Hardik had proposed to Natasa on a yacht, and the two tied the knot during the Covid-19 pandemic. Their first child, Agastya Pandya, was born in July 2020.

Reports suggest that the couple’s separation stemmed from a mismatch in their personalities. According to a source, “He was too flamboyant for her, too full of himself. Natasa could not handle it anymore. She realised that there was a major gap between how they were as people.” The source added that Natasa struggled to match Hardik’s flamboyant nature, which eventually led to her feeling uncomfortable. “This was a never-ending process so it became tiring after a while. Natasa was not able to keep pace hence she decided to take a step back,” the insider explained.

The source further revealed that Natasa's decision was not impulsive but rather a gradual process. “She mulled over it but her decision became firm when he did not change. It was a very painful decision by Natasa but it didn’t come in one day or one week. It was a slow but gradual wound that kept hurting her,” the insider shared.

Natasha’s latest appearance marks a new chapter in her life as she navigates through this challenging period, focusing on her son and her career.
