After entertaining audiences for over a decade, Zee TV's much-loved show Kumkum Bhagya has finally come to an end. The daily soap, which ran successfully for 11 long years, bid farewell to viewers, leaving behind countless memories, iconic characters, and unforgettable stories that will always hold a special place in the hearts of its fans.

Recently, the show's lead actors Pranali Rathod and Namik Paul wrapped up their journey and shared emotional farewell messages with their followers. Both stars expressed gratitude to the team, the channel, and, most importantly, the audience who stood by the show throughout its remarkable run.

Adding a warm touch, Namik Paul took to social media to dedicate a special appreciation post for his co-star Pranali Rathod. He shared an adorable behind-the-scenes picture of the two and captioned it with a heartfelt note 'Upon reading through the lines of the first Shivansh-Prarthna banter-y scene, @pranalirathodofficial said, 'Main isme hassne waali hoon,' and I said, 'Nahi, isme MAIN hassne waala hoon.' And brotha, did we stick to our respective words 🫡,' Namik wrote.

He went on to recall their fun-filled shooting days, highlighting how laughter became the core of their bond. Walking, talking, laughing or crying, carrying or dropping, arguing or arguing some more—there wasn't an activity, place, or state of consciousness that didn't send us into peals of laughter. In fact, Shivansh's episodes of unconsciousness were punctuated with burbling, gurgling, sputtering laughter, mostly mine. There was no humour snobbery either, everything was fair game 🤓,' he added.

Reflecting on the show's ending, Namik shared how Kumkum Bhagya will always stay close to his heart. 'As KKB bids adieu tonight, I hope that all of you who joined us on this journey these past few months will remember it the same way I will—with fondness, warmth, and a smile on my face.'

Later, the story moved forward with Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chaphekar as Ranbir Kohli and Prachi Arora, who carried the legacy beautifully.

In recent years, Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma joined as Rajvansh Malhotra (RV) and Poorvi Kohli, adding fresh energy to the narrative. Finally, the show's last leg starred Pranali Rathod and Namik Paul as Prarthna and Shivansh, who brought new shades of drama and emotion to the screen.
