My look and character appealed me in Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye - Mihika Verma

Talented actress Mihika Verma who has won the hearts of the audience through her portrayal in Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein, tried her hands on portraying a cameo role in Life OK's Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye. Mihika who has been acting since many years has groomed herself very well and has been winning praises from her fans.

Let's ask Mihika more about her character in depth -

What was the motive behind opting for a high budget show like Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye, "There was no such reason to take up this project. They called me a day before and the next day I was on the sets of Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye for the shoot."

Mihika's association with Balaji Telefilms for a long time and she has done many shows under the banner, when asked Mihika about the same she answers, "Ekta Kapoor is one producer which believes in keeping the actors at first place and giving them more preference than anything else, she always makes sure that her actors don't face problems. I feel that she is quite attached with the people who work with her , though she will never express but she will always show her concern for them."

After impressing the viewers with acting in Ye Hai Mohabbatein, Mihika went on to show her skills in another big budget show Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye. Talking about her character in the show Mihika says, "I am playing the character of Sandeep's (Anurag sharma)wife Shikha and the reason of bringing me in the show was to give a positive support to Shobha (Sonali Bendre) Shikha willl relate to Shobha's situation as her husband also betrays her in the same way as Samarth (Harsh Chhaya) has done it."

So what kind of response Mihika has got for her performance in the show? She avers,  "I am getting messages from my fans when they saw me in Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh. They all are amazed and I have got a very good response from the audience so I think I will be seen in some more episodes in future. I enjoyed shooting with Sonali Bendre and I really liked my look in the show as I am wearing beautiful sarees."
