Welcome to another Music 'N' Masti as we take a look at the top 10 songs that have made their mark in Bollywood this week.
10. Aao Seene Se Lag Ke
Film: Mittal Vs Mittal
Singers: Kailash Kher
Kailash Kher has another winner! We predict it won't be on the charts for long, but the tune and lyrics make it a good listen all the same.
9. Love Sex aur Dokha
Film: Love Sex Aur Dokha
Singers: Kailash Kher
Music: Sneha Khanwalker
Lyrics: Debakar Banerjee
Balaji Telefilms deviate from weepy bahus for something a little more... risque. The composition is interesting with beats and lyrics which are more likely to be popular with the younger crowd.
8. O Saawarein
Film: Lahore
Singers: MM Kareem
We're not yet sure about the movie, but MM Kareem's voice coupled with the soothing music make this our favourite new entry!
7. Meri Aashaon Ki
Film: Right Yaa Wrong
Singers: Amitraj
Composer: Monty Sharma
RYW melodious song crawls its way up two spots! Despite the slow-pace, newcomer Amitraj has done an applaudable job and the track seems to grow on the listener.
6. Jyoti Jalaile
Film: Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge
Singers: Sukhwinder Singh
A devotional song inspired by Bipasha's Beedi Jalaile? Apparently so! The light-hearted feel of the movie seeps into the semi-serious soundtrack which is littered with both humorous and devotional songs. Jyoti Jalaile fills both criteria and will probably be the only song you remember after leaving the theater.
5. Aameen Suma Aameen
Film: Click
Singers: Master Saleem, Shamir Tandon
As a composer Tandon improves with each track and Aameen is one of the best tracks on the album.
4. Sajda
Film: My Name Is Khan
Singers: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shankar Mahadevan, Richa Sharma
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
MNIK's Sajda takes another hit but remains a strong contender on our charts. An intoxicating rhythm, memorable lyrics and quality voices make the song a firm favorite!
3. Uff Teri Ada
Film: Karthik Calling Karthik
Singers: Alyssa Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan
Music: Ehsaan Loy, Punditz
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's quirky composition knocks the others out of the runnign! Alyssa Mendonsa's wispy vocals coupled with the funky beat are just what you need to get your feet moving!
2. Ajnabi Hawaayein Bekrara Bahein
Film: Shaapit
Singers: Shreya Ghoshal
Vikram's Bhatt Shaapit will have to settle for No. 2 in our charts this week! 'Ajnabi...' has a gem of a composition from Chirantan Bhatt, soulful lyrics from Sameer and of course, Shreya Ghoshal lending her lilting voice to another strong track!
1. Oh Mere Khuda
Film: Prince
Singers: Atif Aslam, Garima Jhingon
Music: Sachin Gupta
Despite the uninspiring lyrics, Prince's Oh Mere Khuda knocks all the others out of the competion to reach number 1! Atif Aslam and Garima Jhingon do a commendable job as does Gupta's music.
