Munisha Khatwani: If I had known Lovekesh was the Baharwala who saved me, I would have hugged him much more

Anil Kapoor-hosted reality show 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' has been resonating well with the audience since its streaming debut on OTT. As we are aware, each week witnesses the eviction of a contestant, culminating in the crowning of a deserving winner who lifts the trophy and claims the title. Following Neeraj and Payal, now Munisha Khatwani has been evicted from the show.

In an exclusive interview with India Forums, Munisha reflects on her journey and shares her perspective on the recent incidents in the show, as well as her thoughts on who she believes could emerge as the ultimate winner.

How was your journey in the Bigg Boss?

My journey in Bigg Boss was very memorable for me, very different, and I had a great, great experience. I would like to say that it's been a fantastic show, it's been a fantastic experience. Thank you for all the love. I am truly grateful for the immense love I received during my time on the show. It was surprising and heartening to discover upon leaving that I had garnered such affection from the audience. Initially, I had some doubts because the discouragement I faced from fellow housemates made me question how I was perceived outside. Inside, we don't know what people are thinking about us. Even though I was evicted, it was because of the housemates. So, it's very apparent that the thinking of the housemates and the thinking of the audience is a bit different.

I made a lot of attempts to speak to everyone, but I couldn't connect with them genuinely because my base personality is not that

- Munisha Khatwani

What do you now think you could have done differently or wish you had done during your time there?

I couldn't engage in groupism. I couldn't form alliances, which are also known as grouping or alliances. I tried a lot. I made a lot of attempts to speak to everyone, but I couldn't connect with them genuinely. I made a lot of attempts to speak to everyone, but I couldn't connect with them genuinely because my base personality is not that. However, genuine bonding was visible with Vishal and Lovekesh and I was very sure that for me, two were equal to two hundred in this house. These two, whom I lovingly call Ram and Lakhan, were the reason I had such a great, great time.

I would say this that my general support is always for Vishal because he is my brother, and I will always support him

- Munisha Khatwani

We observed that during a nomination task, you and Paulomi chose to defend your friends, resulting in both of you being nominated. Subsequently, we witnessed you experiencing a breakdown. Could you explain the reason behind that breakdown?

My genuine breakdown that day was already ongoing due to negativity and everything. I was just so happy that I was genuinely playing the game. I was really grateful to the Baharwala for saving me. At that time, if I had known it was Lovekesh, I would have hugged him much more. But we had no idea. It was just a guess. I was like, 'God bless.' Thank you so much. This is the first time a Baharwala has been given so much power in any season. This has never happened before. This concept is new. My respect for them has increased tenfold.

Regarding Vishal and Lavkesh, we're aware of a recent significant issue in the house during the weekend war. When Payal arrived and presented Vishal's statement, it led to unrest at home. Vishal received substantial support afterwards. What was your point of view while you were still in the house?

I would say this that my general support is always for Vishal because he is my brother, and I will always support him. However, I don't know 100% what the conversation between Love and Vishal was because I wasn't present during that conversation, nor was I in the lounge. In fact, Sana Sultan also suggested I go and talk to him in the lounge, but I immediately told her that's not my place. When four people are discussing their personal matters in the house, it's not my place to intervene. If needed, I am here, but they should talk it out themselves.

This judgment, according to Kritika, seems wrong because everyone in the show has always shown respect to each other, from the time Neeraj was there to now

- Munisha Khatwani

The violence that followed was very unexpected, and I think everyone was shocked. Personally, I don't condone such actions. However, I might give Armaan some benefit of the doubt regarding his actions in the context of a husband-wife relationship. Being married myself, I can understand that perspective. There's a difference between raising a hand in a heated conversation for a contestant and doing it for a spouse. Perhaps it was a personal reason for Armaan, hence the benefit of the doubt.

You've seen the clips where Vishal commented that "sister-in-law looks beautiful." This statement has now led to consequences in the house. In a recent episode, Kritika mentioned to Chandrika that she avoided wearing a low-neckline dress because of the recent incident. Do you think Vishal's image has been negatively impacted, especially since the housemates may not fully understand what actually happened?

I can confidently say that none of the men in that house had bad intentions. I never got that vibe from any of them, even from those who may not like me. Not even from  Armaan, Sai, Ranveer Ji, or Deepak Ji. Even now, and even before, when everyone was present. This judgment, according to Kritika, seems wrong because everyone in the show has always shown respect to each other, from the time Neeraj was there to now.

We know that you love Vishal and Love a lot. If not for Love and Vishal. Whom do you want to see winning the trophy? And why?

I would say Sana Makbul. She was very supportive and clear in her interactions with me. I find her focused and deserving in the way she plays the game, so I would vote for her.

If Vishal and Love are watching this clip. What would you like to say to them?

I want to express my love for both of you. You're both playing excellently, so keep up the good work. May God bless you abundantly with success. If either of you wins the trophy, it will feel like a personal victory for me. Wishing you both all the best, and sending love always.
