Muni Jha who recently got replaced by Indraneil Bhattacharya in Creative Eye and Colors' Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam is now replaced in a second show – Balaji Telefilms' and Sony's Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hain.
Tellybuzz had earlier reported that Muni Jha will be portraying the role of a father of character named Rashmi portrayed by actress Rakhi Verma. Rashmi is the love interest of Madhav (Puneet Tejwani) in Creative Eye's Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam on Colors. However, Muni Jha's action of signing another contract with Balaji landed him with no offers in the end.
Says our source, "Muni Jha signed Colors' and Creative Eye's Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam for a cameo role. Later he got offered a role in Sony and Balaji's Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hain, a considerably long running role, where he was required to give 20 days in a month for a span of three months. However, Muni Jha wasn't transparent about his two contracts with both the production houses."
Adds the source, "Soon Creative Eye got word of Muni signing the other contract and soon replaced him with actor Indraneil Bhattacharya . When the creatives of Balaji got to know about Muni's dual dealings, they sat down with creatives of Creative Eye and mutually came upon a decision to replace Muni Jha in Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hain too."
The source goes on, "Arvind Wahi, basically a theater personality, who has done only a single show so far (he played the role of a corrupt police commissioner on Kittu Sab Janti Hai on Sahara One) is replacing Muni Jha."
Actor Arvind Wahi says, "Yes I am playing the character of Tauji. I have no clue that I replaced someone."
Muni Jha says, "After signing the Colors show, for about a month I did not get any feedback from them. And when I got an offer from Balaji, my second home, I couldn't say no to them. I readily accepted the offer thinking I can manage doing both the shows. But now the production people of Creative Eye are refusing to adjust my dates."
Dheeraj Kumar, Head of Creative Eye says, "I'm not the right person to comment on this issue,"
We tried contacting the creative team of Balaji but they remained unavailable for comments.
