Modern Day Mahabharat in Bandini

As reported earlier by tellybuzz that the character of Shashank that was till now played by Bharat Chawla will now be played by Ajay Krish.

All starts with Shashank getting humiliated by DM, though Shashank genuinely wants to prove himself as innocent. The battle line drawn between the families puts him in a vengeful situation.

Here is tellybuzz getting you information about the new cast who will be seen playing the younger generation in Bandini.

Hiten (Mrunal Jain) has a boy and girl as twins followed by another son. The character of Rishabh one of the twins will be played by Vicky Batra and the girl amongst the twins will be introduced later. The role of Niketan, Rushab's younger brother will be enacted by Yash Choudhary, he was last seen playing the character of Gaurav in Colors' Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam.Toral's character will now be played by actress Vibhuti.

When contacted, Yash Choudhary said, "My role of that of a typical handsome hunk who feels good to be with girls."

The character of Suraj that was played by Yash Das Gupta will now be played by Shobhit Aatrey, his son Vikram's role will be performed by Ashiesh Kapoor, who was last seen enacting the role of Veer in Star One's, Ssshhh..Phir Koi Hai.

When contacted, Ashiesh Kapoor confirmed the news to tellybuzz and said, "My character is somewhat similar to Bhim in Mahabharat. He thinks from the heart and tries for everything but looks to be rough and tough from outside."

Vishal that is Santo and DM's son will be played by actor Siddharth. Krishna son of Arjan (Kunal Thakkur) and Khemi (Leena Jumani) will be played by Karan Sharma who was last seen in Sony TV's, Pyaar Ka Bandhan.

Talking about his character Karan Sharma said, "Krishna is the eldest among the younger generation. He is intelligent personified and gets a future intuition of anything going right or wrong. He is a complete family man and Santo is very close to him."

In the other family that is of Shashank we have Danesh and Nandini, who are the kids of Shashank and Kadambari (Prerna Wanvari). The character of Danesh will be played by Micckie Dudaaney. Earlier he has played prominent roles in Saarthi, Bhaskar Bharti, etc. Also he was last seen playing a cameo in Keshav Pandit.

When contacted, Micckie Dudaaney told us that he plays the character similar to that of Duryodhan which is completely negative and stands against the DM's family."

Nandini the daughter of Shashank will be played by Megha Israni, who was earlier seen playing the role of Sumo in Sony TV's, Pyar Ka Bandhan.

There will be one more character that is Parth, Monghi (Abigail Jain) and Saraang's (Jatin Shah) illegitimate child. The role of Parth will be played by Rithvik Dhanjani, who was last seen in Colors' Bairi Piya.

Talking about his character Rithvik told us, "My role is similar to that of Dushasan and is completely negative. He plans to ruin lives of DM's family. Also last but not the least Champakali (Sarita Shivaskar) son Abhimanyu's role will be presented by actor Asheish Antil.

We also hear that DM will be seen in a typical Jodhpuri look while Santo (Aasiya Kazi) will be seen in a heavily embroidered saree.

Finally we can say that it is going to be Pandava's V/S Gaurav's in Bandini from tonight's episode.
